Long Bio (202 words): Eytan Nicholson grew up a self-described first-generation American troublemaker, born to immigrant parents from Israel and England. Multicultural stories and experiences fueled early creative outlets in poetry, music, and performance. By age 7, Eytan was already writing poems and songs, and by 12, he was an active street performer around Seattle.

Those unique skills opened remarkable doors. Eytan went on to perform Off-Broadway in NYC with the acclaimed percussion show Stomp, and earned a Professional Music & Songwriting degree from the Berklee College of Music. Workshopping song ideas often produced themes and rhymes that resonated most with children, leading to his debut book John's Johns (2018) - a playful rhyming story about a kid who keeps meeting other kids that share his same name.

His most cherished work is Drawn To Rhyme (May 2026), a posthumous collaboration with his younger brother Noam, who tragically passed away in 2024. The book pairs over 300 of Noam's childhood illustrations with dozens of poems Eytan has written and collected since age 7. All proceeds benefit nonprofit mental health and suicide prevention programming.

Currently Eytan is lead songwriter for AfroBops - a project producing engaging kid’s Afrobeats songs and animated videos - AfroBops.com
